From corner hustler to entertainment industry mogul to NY best-seller.

The 300-page read highlights his experiences, from Marcy Projects to the White House, and dissects metaphors and symbolism in his lyrics. The book is now #3 on the NY bestselling list. Here are a few quotes from the book and what you can learn from Carter’s insights.

LESSON: Learn to turn stagnation into motivation and reinvent yourself to reassess your professional attractiveness. See yourself as your own worst enemy and your best competition to continue fueling your fire for progression, whether in business or professionally.

LESSON: Giving to charity can have its perks, such as tax breaks and other incentives; but it also helps communities in which a business serves or where its clients dwell

LESSON: When no major label would give him a record deal, Carter decided to start Rocafella Records in 1998 with friends Kareem Biggs and Damon Dash [ pictured above]. Under that label, he released his first album, Reasonable Doubt, which has been listed among Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and is considered by many to be a hip hop classic. He went on to sell more than 50 million albums worldwide.

LESSON: Branding oneself, whether a professional or a company, is key to ensuring longevity in a chosen industry or field. Savvy entrepreneurs, such as Fubu founder and self-made millionaire Daymond John, live by the adage that proper branding is vital in remaining relevant and profitable, and the process is a never-ending one.

LESSON: Carter was infamously known for including a mention of Cristal champagne in his songs. But after what he considered racist remarks by Cristal’s managing director, Frederic Rouzand, the rap star led a boycott of the brand, instead shifting his support to Armand de Brignac (also known as the Ace of Spades champagne). This luxury champagne (at $300 per bottle for the Brut Gold) has since risen to become the #1 champagne in the world, and has gained popularity among club-goers and celebrities including Russell Simmons, the New York Yankees, and Samuel Jackson.

LESSON: Be sure to remain open-minded and well-versed on various topics so that you can have engaging conversations. This could lead to lucrative partnerships, deals, and insights. For more on making great connections.

Salute to the homie Jay......

Gays/Lesbians vs Straight parents. This is a major topic that I myself discuss every other day with my co workers.

The truth is a child needs to be loved and that is the bottom line. The idea that children can only be raised in 100 percent gender traditional home is just plain dumb. Parents need only to love their children, provide them with opportunity and teach them how to be good people. To that end I think a child raised by same sex parents who strive to teach all of those things as opposed to straight parents who preach hate and seclusion will be far better off.

My thing is if a parent respects, protects, teaches, provides and loves they are great parents. Regardless of preference.

Good parenting does not depend on sexual orientation; rather, it depends on a parent's ability to create a loving and nurturing home, something both gay and straight parents can do. Home environments with gay parents are as effective in fostering a child's development as those with heterosexual parents; the children of gay parents grow up as happy, healthy and well-adjusted as the children of straight parents. There is no evidence to suggest that children of gay parents are less intelligent, less popular or more likely to have problems than children of straight parents. Children of gay parents are no more likely to become gay or straight than other children.

What do you think?

What’s Wrong with Being Gay? I have seen so many articles about gay marriage or gay issues. What does it matter about a person’s sexuality? Who they choose to be with is their business.

People of the old school believe that being gay is wrong. If you look through history you will find that homosexuality has been around for ages. It’s just more prominent these days. People are starting to come out now.

If being gay was a choice who would want to choose it. To be tortured, tormented and bullied? Why would anyone choose a life of mistreatment? Being gay is not a choice it was in the person when they are born.

How many gay people do you see on TV murdering, raping, or molesting children? Most of them are straight. Gay people are put in this catagory with murders, rapiest and child molesters. For what reason? Just because we like people of the same sex. That’s unfair to us and make straight people look like judgemental hypocrites.

If being gay wasa choice would you rather be gay or straight? Me I would rather be who I am meant to be. People make a big deal over gay issues but what they need to worry about is the economy, jobs, worry about their own family and their marriage.

Straight people worry about children being exposed to gay people in public. They worry about them turning homosexual from it. That is crazy. You can not turn gay. Just like you can not turn straight. Being gay or straight is something you are born with just like having a health problem or being premature.

Religious people think that God don’t make mistakes. That everyone is made the way God makes them. Well what about the babies born with both parts? Who are they? Are they male or female? Gay or straight? You don’t know.

So the parents choose for who they are. Male or female. Is that who God made them to be? You just don’t go by what you think they should be. So this baby grows up to be someone you wanted them to be and why they were meant to be is put out of sight out of mind.

So when they come out to you that they are gay you think someone changed them but in realallity you cchanged them.

Being gay is not a mistake it’s just who we were meant to be. We don’t mess with your rights. Don’t mess with ours. We have the same rights as straight people. Let us keep ours.

Thanks Lynn Huser, for this article.

The professional prankster has unfortunately departed from us. The Airplane! and The Naked Gun has died. He was 84.

Nielsen had been hospitalized for nearly two weeks as a result from pneumonia. "He just fell asleep and passed away." Well at least he went peacefully.

While Nielsen "enjoyed a more than 60 year career in motion pictures and television," as Kelly noted in his statement, his signature line from Airplane! will surely be remembered as one of comedy's best: Said Nielsen, as Dr. Rumack, "I am serious . . . and don't call me Shirley."

May Leslie Nielsen Rest in Perfection.......

Apple has apparently removed the antigay app the Manhattan Declaration, which called for users to fight marriage equality, from its iTunes store.

After thousands protested the company's decision to approve the Manhattan Declaration for download in the first place. Apple has been known to reject a good number of gay-related mobile apps, which is part of what frustrated the LGBT consumers when they learned that an antigay app had been approved.

The company's apparent decision to remove the app came without a statement from Apple, but the Manhattan Declaration is no longer on iTunes.

THANK YOU APPLE. We are a very small minority compared to some of the others minorities. Even though we don't need their approval to be gay. This freedom that EVERY AMERICAN is suppose to have only gets stronger when SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE is enforced...to each their own...as long as two CONSENTING ADULTS...stop trying to cram the bible / the "christian belief system down my throat by making laws that take away my freedom. Christians go form you own country and be sure to let everyone know that it is based on your "book/bible" to join your new country

Man was stabbed than hit with frying pan over facebook post. It went something like this, a man by the name of Calhoun, read something written about his sister on Facebook that apparently got him upset. Unfortunately, instead of following the time-honored Internet tradition of posting passive-aggressive Facebook statuses, he decided to confront the woman who'd posted the thing about his sister—Taresa O'Neal. It didn't go so well. Dude was hit with a frying pan, and then stabbed...SMFH at this crap.

That's like saying you should delete your face cause you got smacked for running your mouth. Where that leave you Calhoun???

I can't front, that is the scariest looking woman I have seen in a long time, and possibly the last person I would confront about anything ever.
It's very sweet that someones brother went to bat for her, though, and I like the frying-pan/knife combo..very traditional and Thanksgiving-like.

If Lil Kim didn’t have enough reason to hate on Nicki Minaj before then she certainly have a valid reason now. In the December issue of Rolling Stone magazine Minaj has proclaimed the official “new Queen of Hip-Hop”. Read the article below:

SMFH thanks for the joke, that was the shortest reign in history then, Kim must have gone to the toilet because if there ever was any doubt (not that there was) Kim snatched the crown and the wig underneath it back today lol

Magazines say whoever is featured is the king or queen of something just to lick ass, how can you be the queen of hip hop when you just released an album, have no grammy, no catalogue and only basic bitches even take you serious as a hip hop artist? nicki is hip pop.

Ok I'm done with this Nicki and Kim shit. It's getting tired and I'm so over it. I can no lomger waste my time on this little cat fight they got going on right now. DONE.com

The full version of Lil Kim’s ‘Black Friday’ has finally arrived. The song, which features the Queen Bee slamming both Nicki Minaj and DrakeLilkimfriday by grapejuicy

I actually like this track. But KIM seems so desperate! I mean damn you really gotta put all this time and energy into Nicki? Like seriously if she aint worth it, why waste your time obsessing over her?? Song is cool, but KIM………. your time is up!!!!

Please tell me what yall think...

Happy Thamksgiving Lindsay Lohan your now a free woman, well ... only for around 15 hours. LiLo got a one-day pass at Betty Ford to celebrate Thanksgiving ... in L.A. ... with her dad.

She's leaving her sober living facility in Palm Springs this morning to make the 2-hour drive ... but she has to be back by late tonight. One advantage of celebrating with her dad is that he's probably much less likely to let her have some alcohol... I think he does take such things seriously because of his personal experience with rehab and the courts and the whole DUI thing. Her mom might have figured what the heck, the alcohol would clear before she's tested at Betty Ford on return.

So this way she can have some visiting with friends but some relatively adult supervision...

I am glad to see she is making up with her dad. Maybe she is finally accepting responsibility for her own actions and realizing you can only blame your parents for so long. after the age of 18 she is responsible for everything she has done not her parents!

Whenever making some big changes in your life, the ones most likely to sabotage your efforts are family and friends, especially if they continue to do what you're trying to avoid.

Kim’s long-time rival Foxy Brown has added her two cents to the drama. With Minaj saying that Brown informed her of Kim’s supposed “transgressions”. Here's what Boogie said via twitter:
Clearly Minaj still "THINKS" she has the upper-hand. While she continues to be everywhere, Fox "Boogie" Brown ain't never there. Kim’s delusions of grandeur have her of the opinion that her old material will “erase” Minaj’s social security number. The punchlines write themselves.

Get over it. seriously. Kim only done 3 interviews and thisis50 broke down her interview into 3parts. Not that serious. Kim’s last interview was in JUNE. Nicki squashed everything at the Awards and everything was settle until she dropped roman revenge that caused Kim to go into Nick hometown and speak her mind. Nicki needs controversy to hve people backin her up and it’s a fact. That’s she decided to bring back all of this when everyone was alraedy over it. I’m mad that Kim even entertained this gimmick in the first place.

Nicki been commin for Kim. Check out on youtube “LOU$TAR- H.O.O.D.S.T.A.R.S Feat. Nicki Minaj & 7even-up” and start @ the 1:42 and hear Nicki comin for Kim never BEFORE she started her mixtapes and hit mainstream. It’s ALOT of shit we dont know about that goes on behind scenes.

I dig Nicki and all that but sorry boo boo, you're not on any upper hand any more, especially with that wack album. It’s getting HORRIBLE reviews. BIRDMAN is buying out her album in stores instead of people smh. She can sell all she want but at the end of the day, her album was weak. Check out his twitter. And why are yall commin for Foxy? All she said was she didnt say that.

Super-Producer Polow Da Don invited Breezy to Greenbriar Mall in his hometown of South West Atlanta and perform for the community free of charge, for his 4th annual “Thanksgiving Carnival.” That's what's up.

Chris Brown tore the stage down performing many of his hits including “Transform Ya” and “Shortie like mine” with special guest Bow Wow. Also Keri Hilson, Big Boi, Ludacris, Lloyd and other major artist repping Atlanta rocked Greenbriar mall and area that doesn’t get to see this kind of star power every day.

Polow Da Don's Foundation F.O.C.U.S./ Zone 4, teamed up with rapper Ludacris foundation to also give away 2,000 Turkey’s, carnival rides for the kids and held a contest where a lucky family won free housing payments for an entire year. *daps* Looks like my dude is F.O.C.U.S.E.D.

This was a real good look for them to give back to the community, I see you breezy!!

Keyshia Cole looks amazing I must say on the cover of her fourth album Calling All Hearts, in stores December 21. With her auburn hair hanging down, the soul songstress strikes a pensive pose with blue lips accented with a red heart. With a few features like a duet with Tank, plus the Nicki Minaj-assisted single “I Ain’t Thru” and ballad “Long Way Down.”

Good job Keyshia....can't wait for this album to drop.

50 talks about why he feels that she is the most skillful femcee in the game.

In an interview with MTV.com on the set of Jeremiah's video “Down On Me”, 50 states that Nicki has not only earned her status in Hip-Hop but mastered the art of creating a lane where there was none.

"She's the only female around, period," 50 said. "She has a lane that's been closed that she just busted open on her own, and she's an amazing talent. A lot of artists, I personally am not excited by, but her, particularly, she impressed me on that 'Bottoms Up' remix."

He also states that he still supports Lil' Kim.

"I understand why people make the comparison between her and Kim, because of the wigs, the hair," 50 continued. "But I kind of see similarities in her and Foxy's career. Foxy was in the Firm and down with Jay-Z, the way Nicki was in Young Money, and down with Gucci [Mane]. I see that the same way they kind of came in with the support of two crews, like Foxy did."

Kim was a trendsetter when she made wearing the color wigs hot for the females. Look! that's my opinion. A lot of what kim did had females open up about being sexual. Nicki's barbie gimmick and the different voices didn't set any trends. I don't know, but I really wouldn't compare the two.

Everyone has their own opinions like everyone have assholes.

Can't be serious. Dolce and Gabbana Tax Evasion Charges? Fashion designers and business partners Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been indicted on tax-evasion charges.

The dumbass designers are expected to settle out of court and pay a fine or the case will go to trial in Milan and they'll risk owing up to $1 billion and could possibly spend up to three years in prison. (SMFH)

The designers are accused of setting up a holdings company in Luxembourg in order to evade high Italian taxes.

Now these fools might be fighting for their virginity in prison, unless......(shhhh)

Kanye West held a last second album release concert for, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” last night out here in New York. Guest he brought out included Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Ryan Leslie, John Legend and Justin Vernon. Kanye West ended his show with an emotional speech which talked about his come back, first week projected sales (600k), the media, George Bush, Taylor Swift and more.

Heard that Ye did his thing on the album. I'm not a fan of this egostistcal jerk, but I gotta give credit and respect that this man is an amazing artist.

Well Goddam !!! Christina Milian redefined the saying "all the way to the bank". Milian has reached a divorce settlement with former husband R&B singer The-Dream that leaves her $4 million richer, as a part of the agreement, she will also receive child support to the tune of $5,000 per month for their daughter, Violet.

After photos of The-Dream vacationing with his personal assistant, Melissa Santiago, reached the Internet. Now that she is single though Milian will focus all of her energy on her daughter.

Wonder how The Dream is feeling right now. Like was it really worth it b? That nigga is probably don't even care. That's small change to the super producer/artist.

Dude got her feeling like the single life is the shit. Well maybe in her case it is. Here's what she's said, “I’m staying single for a long time,” said the 29-year-old. “There is no man in my life and I’m staying single. No dating, no nothing. I love being single. I jump from relationship to relationship usually and this is the first time I’m comfortable with myself. I’m learning about myself all over again.”

Do you ma. Come over to the other side. *rolling*

In celebration of the release of her album, Pink Friday, MTV is airing a documentary on Nicki Minaj Sunday the 28th.

One of the more revealing moments in the documentary:

Nicki travels back to her homeland of Trinidad, where she remembers being left by her parents before coming to America.

“A lot of times when you’re from the islands, your parents will leave and then send for you because it’s easier when they have established themselves, when they have a place to stay, when they have a job,” she recalls in one clip. “I thought it was going to be for a few days, it turned into two years … without my mother.”

“They’re gonna meet Onika,” Nicki told MTV News about the doc, referring to her real life personality outside of the music business. “Everybody sees Nicki Minaj; they’re gonna meet Onika. They’re gonna hear my story, and it’s such an inspirational story, which I never really wanted to tell. ‘Cause everyone always feels like you don’t want people to know too much. But when I saw what [MTV and production company @radical.media] did, I thought, ‘People need to see this.’ It reminds you that everyone always feels like this is it, but there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, and I feel like that’s what the doc says at the end.”

That Barbie gimmick has really paid off.

Finally all this damn dancing is over, as Jennifer Grey dances away with the mirrorball trophy. Right now she is having the time of her life.

Jennifer put the finishing touches on her nearly perfect run on “Dancing with the Stars,” as the former “Dirty Dancing” beauty captured the mirror ball trophy as the Season 11 champ!

Good job! Where that leave you Bristol? B. Palin and her dance partner Mark Ballas came in third place.

Are you ready for this? The Anti-Facebook Rev. Cedric Miller liked watching his wife get tag teamed by another dude. Rev. Cedric Miller has been on a crusade against Facebook because, like letting homosexuals marry, it threatens the institution of traditional marriage. On Sunday he spent part of his fifty-minute sermon railing against the social network. Mr. Miller, a pastor at Living Word Christian Fellowship, did not tell his congregation that he and his wife Kim engaged in threeways with a male church staffer after Bible class, and sometimes fourways with the staffer's wife, though he did tell a court about the group sex action during a 2003 criminal complaint involving the staffer. He's offered to resign.

This is why I call it SMFH Files.

Freedom of Speech just went too far when a handful of teens showed up to St. Charles North High School in Illinois wearing "Straight Pride" shirts ("If a man lay with a male as those who lay with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination and shall surely be put to death," was written on the back), they were told by administrators to cross out the offending Biblical passages with marker. The next day a different set of students wore homemade "Straight Pride" shirts, with Bible verses.

The shirts also had the biblical passage Leviticus 20:13 on the back, declaring that people who engage in homosexual activity should be put to death. That’s crazy and very strong, but it is what the Bible teaches. If these students believe in the Bible, they have every right to promote death for gays. That is protected speech.

But is hate speech protected under the U.S. Constitution? Very much so as long as you don’t incite or threaten violence, it’s considered free speech.

SMFH at this old ass nigga Teddy Riley who says He believes Michael Jackson is still alive. What's this dude smoking? Ayo Teddy, pass that shit you on b. The throw back super producer recently took to Twitter to defend his theory.

“You know people are so F-ing anal. If people can think Elvis is still alive why the F#*@ I cant [sic] think Michael is still alive,” he tweeted.

Teddy previously worked with MJ on his Dangerous album and produced “Breaking News”, the lead single on the upcoming Sony album. Just a day before tweeting his conspiracy theory, Teddy received a message from a fan asking if he agreed with Akon, who also supposedly believes the late Pop idol isn’t dead.

“Akon said he believes Michael is in hiding and will be coming back one day. I’m curious to know what ya think bout that,” the fan’s tweet read. Riley tweeted back, “AKON IS MY FRIEND AND WE THINK ALIKE.”

I wanna fight them. *Rolling* What are these dudes on? Word! Teddy and Akon that's how yall feeling? (SMFH)

How many of you believes once a cheater always a cheater? To me I think it really depends on why the cheating occurred in the first place. Some types of cheating are much easier to resolve than others ("too much opportunity" versus "need for excitement").

Change is possible, but very difficult. It requires a lot of insight, work and effort. And without some type of counseling and a strong commitment to change, people often revert back to the old ways.

Well ummm.....That's the case here with Eva Longoria Regretting not dumping Tony Parker the first time he cheated. Just five months into their marriage, Tony's infidelity spread like wildfire, but Eva chose to listen to her heart and not her head. She stood by her man, believing deeply in the institution of marriage. She chose to believe her husband was innocent. Yea aight.

What I'm saying is that a person just don't get up and walk away from a marriage because of a few text messages, There has to be much, much more to this story than that. Let's just say Tony knows exactly what he did to her and it wasn't the first time and wouldn't have been the last. Trust has been broken, as well as Eva's heart.

So again, how many of you believe once a cheater always a cheater?

One thing that I know is, there's no such thing as make up sex. The last thing a woman wants to do when she’s feeling any kind of negative emotion, whether it’s mad, sad, frustrated, annoyed, stressed, or worn out, is get busy between the sheets.

When a woman withholds sex, she’s trying to send a message. Ride with me as Taz school you youngin's. lol. The solution to this is to find out why she’s upset and try to fix it. Sometimes simply acknowledging that you’ve done something wrong is enough to make her calm down. Other times, the only way to get out of the doghouse is to participate in one of those long, heartfelt conversations in which you share feelings.

If she’s keeping the good loving from you, it may be an attempt to assert her power over you and the relationship. If there’s one area of a relationship women think they have control over, it’s sex. Acknowledge how much you appreciate her in bed she may realize that trying to prove her status is necessary.

This one is funny. Brace yourselves: She could be avoiding sex with you because she’s not enjoying it. Some women are embarrassed by the idea of talking about sex with their partners, especially if there is a problem. So instead of telling you what’s wrong, she might just close up shop.

I'm here to save the day. All you have to do is take her to a sex shop and buy something fun for both of you.

Women withhold sex because we let them get away with it. It’s pretty clear it’s the one thing that most of us can’t live without and that they’ll do pretty much anything to keep it coming on a regular basis. If you and your girlfriend can openly communicate, you should be able to talk through these issues as they come up instead of getting to the point where she’s closing her legs while you’re begging for it.

Until next time.....

Jay-Z talks about the first time about a crime he committed at a tender age: he shot his older brother Eric when he was just 12 years old.

Growing up in Brooklyn, New York's infamous Marcy projects, Jay says it was easy to get his hands on a gun. He's not lying. "How did he get the gun? "I went to someones crib, someones house, and got it. Guns were everywhere. You didn't have to go far to get one. Just everywhere."

After the non-fatal shooting -- he shot Eric's shoulder Jay-Z admits, "I thought my life was over. I thought I'd go to jail for ever."

But his brother refused to press charges. When Jay-Z visited Eric in the hospital, it was Eric who apologized for his crack addiction.

"It was terrible," he says now. "I was a boy, a child. I was terrified."

It's the only time Jay-Z ever shot someone, he says. "There were shoot-outs, but I never shot anyone else. Most people in shoot-outs don't get shot."

He was, however, shot at three times, but was never hit. "It's like there was some rogue angel watching over us."

*side eye* Word Jay??? that's the only time you shot someone? Don't let me air out your dirty laundry homie. I'm going to say one name and I'm going to leave it at that....Calvin Klein. I'm done now.

Who gives a fuck if Kim Kardashian arrived at the Staples Center with Halle Berry's ex, Gabriel Aubry, and then the duo sat courtside to watch her brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, and his team beat the Golden State Warriors.

Add to this the fact that Halle Berry had hooked up with co-star boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, Gariel may be a good look for Kim Kardashian.

Today I must say was a long and trying day. After thinking about some things I realized that, there isn't a person out there who hasn't experienced a deep sense of loss or regret subsequent to a relationship breakup. Whether you ended it or she/he was the instigator, it is natural to be plagued with a lingering need to be with her/him once again.

Many of us fall prey to a sense of duty in holding a relationship together or are fearful of being perceived as failures if it doesn't work out in the long-term.

Dealing with a situation right has me thinking about a lot right now. Take heed to what I'm about to kick to you. In order to win that special lady back, you'll have to sift through some deep and painful issues. Take stock of where you both made a wrong turn and why. If you fail to identify the problem, you'll fall short in finding the solution. Avoid asking yourself the question, "Who was to blame?" Pointing the finger at your girlfriend will lead to bitter feelings rather than reconciliation. Are you still with me?

Once you know what went wrong, you might still have time to do something about it. Depending on your circumstance, the time has come for an apology or forgiveness. Maybe even both. If she instigated the breakup, you should give her an appropriate buffer of time before proposing to be exclusive again. Expect her to be hurt, bitter.

I'm going to need for everyone reading this to please keep up to what I'm saying. Let me warn you now that an unrealistic plea, made under duress, to put everything right will end in disaster. If the relationship took a dive because neither of you knew how to give in during a fight, sit down and devise a set of rules for both of you to follow during the next conflict. It can be as simple as resolving to never go to bed angry or telling her how much you care whenever your pride makes it near impossible to do so.

Conduct an audit of the relationship and assess whether it is in fact your ex that you want back, or the feeling of comfort and confidence you had when you were with her.

In conclusion, when you do proceed to bridge the gap for the right reason and succeed in getting her back, cultivate the relationship like a prize rose bush so you can avoid having to read this article again.

The mentor to young pop superstar Justin Bieber, Usher is a proud man. Last night at the American Music Awards, Bieber took home the coveted Artist of Year award, the whole experience became too much for Usher, resulting in some unexpected tears.

"It was an out-of-body experience," Usher said backstage. "I don't cry that often, but I did." I feel you brother. *tears*

Besides Bieber snatching four awards, Usher also managed to take two awards home himself, (that was actually Chris Brown's) discussing the highs of the past year as well as what he's been able to pass on to his young protégé. Let's just say that Bieber is in good hands.

Dancing With the Stars, received a letter addressed to Bristol Palin containing a suspicious white substance. Apparently, some deranged fans are vexed that Bristol Palin has yet to be eliminated from the show so much so that one of them has taken it over the top.

Come on people, this is not how you show your fustrastion. The two left feet bitch shouldn't have made it this far, but trying to scare the show isn't how you go about it. *rolling*

Maybe now Dancing With The Stars should fix their voting system. ok bye.

Nicki Minaj finally confirmed that Lil Kim was the target of Roman’s Revenge during an interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez. Putting it out there by saying:

“You gotta be careful when you pick fights,” said Minaj. “That’s what I’ve learned in this business. I think people mistake me for a real Barbie and forget where I’m from. They forget where I’m from. And if I have to revert back, I can and I will.” Let em know where u from ma!

Minaj then spoke on Kim’s past beefs and asserted that the Queen Bee is so insecure that she is incapable of accepting other female rappers.

“Something is bothering you inside. That’s your insecurity bothering you. [If] it’s not Nicki Minaj, it would have been any girl that started poppin’. She picked a fight with Foxy [Brown], then she picked a fight with Eve, then she picked a fight with Remy [Ma], then it was Ms. [Voletta] Wallace, then it was Nicki Minaj,” she added.

“Everytime you in the news is because you getting at somebody. Where’s your music? Put your music out. When I see your name on Billboard, that’s when I’ll respond to you. Other than that, goodbye

Real talk we really didn't need a confirmation from Nicki, we already know what it is, and who it is.

Songwriter Wadena Pyatt filed a lawsuit claiming that song jackers Alicia Keys and Usher plagiarized a song by Pyatt for their 2004 hit "Caught Up." Pyatt claims she wrote the original version of "Caught Up" in 2002, while she was under contract with MBK, which is owned by Keys and her business partner, Jeffery Robinson.

Ok so she do know that we're in 2010? 2002 is quite a long time to be claiming such allegations, just my opinion.

Pyatt claims she signed a record deal in 2003 and planned to release the song on her own debut album, and was caught off guard when she discovered the tune was contained on Usher's hit album Confessions. He's not the only one that has a confession.

She's suing for a full accounting, as well as damages disgorgement of any profits received from sales of "Caught Up."

Guess it finally "caught up" with A. Keys and usher.

So, this is where she was. The AMA’s sucked without her!

Last night the beautiful booty bouncer Beyonce attended a screening of her ‘I Am…World Tour’ at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City.

I know people are going be like " Let Kelly Rowland live". But for real people are yall serious? Why must her fans have to suffer because Kelly can’t get her act together? She’s had PLENTY of time and all she’s giving us is push backs. Why release singles, promote them, then go back to the drawing board saying the album isn’t even finished? And let’s not forget B’day was created in two weeks, and that’s a fan favorite album. This is Beyonce we are talking about, she’s not going to give us anything but her best. I'm just saying....

Kelly Rowland is one studio session away from completing her third solo album, the promotional ball for the project appears to be rolling once again. Giving it to em with a new shot of the Destiny’s Child diva for the untitled LP (due next year).

With heavy hitters producing on the album, includes Darkchild, Tricky Stewart & The Dream, Rico Love, Ester Dean, Bryan Michael Cox and Jermaine Durpi. This I hope is worth the wait. Haven't really been checking for Ms. kelly but something tells me this is going to be a banger.

Back to this promo shot.....SHE LOOKS AMAZING!

Can anyone tell me if they think texting another person is cheating or not? What do you think?

My opinion of sexting is an act of participating in sexual or flirtatious conversation through text messages. Although many people see this as innocent talk, many others disagree. Often it is the people engaging in this activity that see it as harmless. The ones who see this as cheating are often the partners of the ones doing it. While sexting and cheating may not be quite the same thing, they are often not far apart.

If you ask me, yes, texting/sexting whatever you want to call it is cheating. When you're in a relationship, that's the only person you need to be sexting. A lot of people get sloppy and forget to erase the text messages and wind up getting caught out there. I believe most of the time the people who are doing the texting are the weak, scared and lazy.

But I guess it would depend on the frequency and the content, when in doubt, trust your gut reaction. It's usually right. I know that mine was.

Now, tell what you think....

Now that Eva Longoria is divorcing her husband of three years, she has three tattoos that have something to do with her soon-to-be-ex-husband: their wedding date on her wrist, his initials in a “secret spot,” and his jersey number on the back of her neck.

Eva hasn’t said anything on to what she will do with the tattoos, but come on people we all know what's coming next.

What would you do if you had your ex's name, initials tatooed on you? Which brings me to my next post...........

YESSSSS!!! We here and ain't going anywhere, as California residents has elected Victoria Kolakowski to fill a spot in the state’s Superior Court, making her the nation’s first openly transgender trial judge. Kolakowski came out as transgender in 1989.

Kolakowski’s victory also comes just days before the Transgender Day of Remembrance. TDOR commemorates the memory of those murdered by anti-transgender hate, and seeks to increase awareness of transgender women and men in mainstream society. Kolakowski’s position as the first transgender trial judge in the country undoubtedly contributes to the visibility of transgender people everywhere, and serves as an inspiration as we approach this day. #WHO FUCKING MAD?

This is some real different unique shit that these two German undertakers are offering. Got coffins that's designed with nude male images to appeal specifically to the gay market. I think this is something that the LGBT community would love. Thomas Brandl and his 34yr old business partner Michael Koenigsfeld say they are expanding into the gay market to satisfy the increasing number of special requests from same-sex couples they have received.

They believe you should be able to have a coffin that lets you embark on your last journey in a way that reflects how you lived your life. People are going to be really interested because it's so unique.

Am I the only one or have any of you sat down and thought to yourself, is your girl mother material? What's crazy is that I'm thinking about that right now. Being a girlfriend is not the same as being a mother. You know that, right? They’re two completely different jobs. Just because she’s great at one doesn’t mean she’ll be great at the other. Think about it: Your ideal girlfriend might be sexy, spontaneous and adventurous, but are those the qualities you want in a wife and mother or are they signs she’ll be a bad mother? It’s more likely you want that woman to be dependable, practical and compassionate.

All I'm saying is that you’ll want to make sure your girlfriend is mom material before buying that house in the suburbs. Luckily there are signs she’ll be a bad mother, a series of red flags that you can spot pretty easily if you know what to look for.

- She's self-destructive: You don’t want to bring a child into a chaotic environment and you don’t want to risk your partner’s self-destructive behavior being passed down to your kids.
- She’s obsessively materialistic: She might pass her obsession with stuff onto your kid, turning him into a spoiled brat. Alternatively, she might treat your kid as an accessory. It’s likely your materialistic partner is obsessed with status.
- She's impatient: If you find she’s quick tempered now, imagine what she’ll be like with a toddler.
- She's violent: That means a house free from physical or mental abuse. Violent behavior of any kind is a sign that she’ll be a bad mother.

Watch for the signs. That's how I'm feeling.

Now this is going to be interesting. As Amy Winehouse is agreeing to make a comeback.
The "Rehab" singer, whose spent a good amount of time away from the spotlight due to drug usage, is hitting the stage with Janelle Monaé in 2011 for a South American tour.

The two are scheduled to perform four live show in South America, three of which are part of the Summer Soul Festival, which takes place between Jan. 8 and Jan. 15.

The concerts will mark Winehouse's first full live show since 2008.

What a fucking show this will be.

I'm not condoning cheating in a relationship, nor denying that it's wrong to cheat. I'm merely suggesting that in some cases, cheating may be beneficial to a relationship.

So why am I writing about such a controversial issue? Because most men and women cheat on their partners at some point in a relationship, and they need to be informed that cheating has at least an ounce of redeeming value. Cheating is not always bad; surprisingly, it can help to improve current relationships.

I'm not implying that every man/woman should go out and be unfaithful, nor am I implying that everyone cheat on everyone they date. All it means is that at some point, the little voice in some peoples head overpowers and people venture into forbidden territory.

Why do we cheat? Speaking to my homeboy and this is what was said:

Cheating generally means that you are not fully satisfied with your current partner or you feel that something is missing in the relationship. If you were completely in love and happy within your relationship, then why would you jeopardize all that you have for a five-minute fling with the girl next door?

When people cheat, it basically means that we're are looking for something our girlfriend or wife(mate) is not providing. Often times, it comes down to sex.

When people are in a relationship for a long time, they can't help but start taking their significant other for granted. Sometimes they forget just how great the woman/man they have really is. Some forget how wonderful it feels to have someone who loves them unconditionally. Cheating usually involves lustful feelings of physical attraction; nothing long-term.

The result is that once someone is unfaithful, they will lie in bed and think relentlessly about their unsuspecting partner. Why? Because the lust factor has worn away and the reality didn't measure up to the fantasy. Instead, they remember the good reality; the woman/man who loves them, makes them coffee and makes love to them. The old saying "you don't know what you've got till it's gone" says it all.

So many people keep themselves constantly busy and think that they are happy because they are occupied. But the real reason why they keep busy is because they are afraid of being alone with their own thoughts and even more afraid of listening to their soul. Our brains are capable of holding an enormous amount of info (some say as much as a super computer) but our soul holds infinitely more. It knows the answers to everything if we only take the time to listen to it. Your soul is the real you; our brains are full of clutter and have been moulded by the input of all those who have crossed our paths but our soul knows the truth. Take the time to meditate (or at least do some deep thinking) and get to know your soul and you will find your truth and many of life's problems will fade away into insignificance.

I used to think that I was doing something wrong because I kept getting challenges. But I know now that life is meant to be like that. This is why we are here on earth; to meet our challenges square on and overcome them. But having challenges doesn't have to mean that life is difficult if you deal with them when they first become apparent. They won't go away if you ignore them. The same problems will keep coming back to irritate you and cause you increasing amounts of stress. And if you still continue to ignore them they will end up "smacking you fair in the face" so you are forced to deal with them. So much easier to deal with them when they first appear wouldn't you agree? So when something is bothering you, don't push it aside and keep busy to block it out because if you do that, it will just become a bigger problem.

Take the time to be alone and examine it; think about it; meditate on it. If you persist, the solution will come to you. Of course there are times when we need professional help and guidance but that is never enough on its own. In the long run we have to find many of the answers ourselves because no one can ever really know you like you can know yourself. And that's really what life is about - getting to really know our true selves and living in harmony with our souls.
