According to arrest records, the victim was forced to perform oral sex on Anton while being held at gunpoint behind the Jefferson Community & Technical College building on West Chestnut Street around midnight Friday.

Dep’s lawyer, Anthony Ricco, was hoping to get the murder charges downgraded to manslaughter, but Manhattan prosecutors working on the case, declined the offer, reports New York’s Daily News. Instead, prosecutors said they were open to discuss a a minimum prison term. That means, G. Dep, will face 15-years-to-life instead of the maximum 25-to-life for the guilty plea. <----SMFH.

It's reported that the group is the subject of a documentary titled “I Want My Name Back,” which debuted at the Urbanworld Film Festival last week.
The documentary is being shot by producer Roger Paradiso, who has also produced movies such as “The Thomas Crown Affair,” “The Manhattan Project,” “City by The Sea,” and more.
“I Want My Name Back” tells the story of the Sugarhill Gang's rise to fame, along with their controversial place in hip-hop history, as well as decades-long legal battle to own their rap names, which they have recently gained control of.
According to Paradiso, the group has finally entered the recording studio to work on the follow up to Jump On It, which was released in 1999.
Producer Paradiso said -----> "They’re working on a new album and have been for a while." "They got so disillusioned during their first experience. If that song [the seminal hit "Rapper's Delight"] happened today, they’d be set for life. But they are living a very modest life."
Adding to the new album, the group was involved in making “I Want My Name Back,” which goes deep into the legal battle the group encountered with the legendary Sugar Hill record label owners, Sylvia and Joe Robinson.
Tracks like “Rappers Delight,” and "Apache," are still played on the radio and in clubs around the world, although the group never saw the majority of their royalties.
Paradiso said, "their recording career came to an end not really because they wanted to, but they were under such a bad contract. They started touring and started learning how they were getting ripped off." Paradiso also added, "when their contract came up, they got legal advice, and they tried to negotiate a better contract and the label didn’t want to. They had no publishing control and they certainly weren’t paid correctly on the royalty side." <-----SMFH

Telling XXL Mag, over the phone that “The next project he’s working on is I Can’t Feel My Face with Juelz Santana, Elz is talented man. He’s a young legend. <-----Don't know about that.*SHRUGS* But Wayne’s back working in the studio. He has that and the Young Money album.”
Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana started working on the 'I Cant Feel My Face' album a minute ago. But damn near all the songs were leaked out on mixtapes, but an official LP never came to lyfe. Now, they both have decided to give the project a second go round and obviously work on all new material. There is no release date for that long talked about effort, however, Mack says that another Wayne spearheaded disc will probably drop before the end of this year. Weezy and his Young Money employess are once again planning another family album.
Mack said “We haven’t actually recorded one verse for that album, when we were on tour, we said we’re gonna wait until we get back to Miami to get everybody out there. We have one more show in Hawaii then we’ll start recording. It wont take long. Too much creativity for it to take a long time.
“If you follow our artists, you always see Gudda saying he’s in the studio,” Mack added, noting his family’s relentless work ethic. “Drake’s working on his new album now. In between he’ll be touring to promote it. Nicki works her ass off. She just came off tour with us and jumped right on the tour with Britney Spears. Tyga’s on tour with Chris Brown and trying to work on his album. Gudda, Millz, Lil Chuckee [they’re all] working. They all following the format. An obese mum whose life was saved by a gastric bypass told yesterday how she is slowly killing her sons by feeding them up to a combined weight of 800 lbs.
The mother said: ‘I know it’s my fault they’re fat, and that the fatty food is killing them, but I can’t stop. I’m feeding my boys to death. ‘As my weight plummeted and theirs soared I felt awful. ‘I tried to buy healthy food for all of us. I wanted the boys to lose weight like I had, only naturally. ‘But it’s hard for them being at home all the time. They are too overweight to work, exercise or socialise. The only thing I can offer them to make them happy is more food.’

She proclaims that music is her therapy, Its the medicine to my soul the R&B singer says. Her musical influences include (but not limited to) artists like Anita Baker, Alicia Keys, Sade’, Ron Isley, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Babyface, New Editon, Lloyd and Maxwell.
Not limiting her self, Shay Star has also tapped into modeling and acting with hopes that these activities will also open doors to help further her career. Due to a victorious win at DJ Envy’s “Heart Of The City” Showcase she has had the pleasure of working with celebrity photographer Felix Natal Jr. who also shares a vision with the young star. Modeling has allowed her to land roles in videos and promotions for artists such as up and coming Dream Star / Nappy Boy recording artist CR Da Show and more!
With a very ambitious spirit, Shay says Once I set a goal, I will go the extra mile to accomplish that goal even above and beyond my own expectations. This has been a long journey for the R&B singer, especially with no manager or label backing her projects. Nevertheless, this free spirit does not let that stop her from making her dreams become a reality. Her only desire is for the world to embrace, love and appreciate what she has put into her music.
